At the northerly end of the Golden Valley close to the Wye Valley Walk but only 3 miles from the centre of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its antiquarian bookshops and annual Literary Festival, Hardwicke Green is perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire countryside as well as the Black Mountains and into Wales.
Set in six acres of gardens and meadows with lovely uninterrupted views to the hills, this spacious Victorian house is intriguingly built onto an 18th Century stone farmhouse and offers comfortable en-suite accommodation, a comprehensive breakfast menu including local produce and a non-smoking policy.
For the visitor by car Hardwicke Green is easily located and there is ample parking. Walkers will find immediate access to a large network of rights-of-way and transport to and from the Offa’s Dyke and Wye Valley long distance walks can be arranged if required. There is a lock-up shed for cycles and grazing for horses.
John and Jane Neville will be delighted to welcome you to Hardwicke Green. Our aim is to provide you with every comfort and convenience and, with our special attention to detail, to make your stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
We hold the Green Dragon Environmental Standard Award.
